Our client is a top Placement Agent, who are looking to expand their German presence. This role is a combination of Project Management and Distribution, where you will be working with European GPs to execute fundraising processes, targeting institutional LPs across Continental Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project timelines and client deliverables to support fundraising efforts across European institutional LPs, including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors across Europe, ensuring that the firm’s products and services are effectively communicated.
- Coordinate the distribution of investment strategies to LPs, ensuring smooth interaction and fostering long-term, productive relationships.
- Raise capital from Institutional LPs across Europe.
- Provide ongoing support and project management for client meetings, roadshows, and investor due diligence processes.
- Prepare and review fundraising materials, presentations, and updates for prospective and existing clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and investor sentiment in European markets, adapting the distribution approach as necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Placement Agent or in a similar investor relations/ fundraising role in the private markets space.
- Track record in raising capital from European LPs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Deep knowledge of the European institutional investment landscape, with an established network of contacts across European LPs.
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken. Additional European language skills are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients.
- Ability to prepare compelling fundraising materials and presentations.
