French-speaking Sales/Distribution - Zug, Switzerland:
Our client is a dynamic and entrepreneurial GP Advisory and Placement Agent Firm based in Zug, Switzerland. Founded in 2019, they have thrived through the difficult COVID years and are now looking to add a Fundraising professional to their team, with a focus on French-speaking Europe.
Their clients are usually Private Equity, Venture Capital, Infrastructure or Private Debt fund managers which are looking for advice and access to the European Investor base. They have a flat hierarchy, and every team member manages his own schedules, markets, and prospects. They are therefore looking for a self-starter and a team player who can under initial guidance work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the fundraising activities for your assigned market(s) and investor group(s) independently for our clients
- Attend industry leading conference such as the SuperReturn, SuperInvestor, Global Infrastructure Summit, IPEM or others.
- Organise investor roadshows and lead meetings with potential investors
- Prepare briefing notes for investor meetings, distribute fund materials, follow-up with interested investors to potentially
- Lead investor due diligence meetings throughout the fundraising period
- Support the creation of marketing materials, data room, due diligence questionnaires and other documentation.
- Support co-investment and secondary processes
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level from a leading institution with strong academic background
- 3-6 years' fundraising/IR experience - either in investment banking, investment/asset management or at a placement agent.
- Strong background in fundraising to investors in either France, the UK or the Nordics and a strong base of LP relationships there.
- Confident communicator; flawless written and verbal English language skills. Fluency in French is essential.
- Knowledge of or exposure to private markets is highly preferable.
