We are working with a commodity trading house seeking a relationship manager to join their team:
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage daily with a network of partner banks, insurers, and development finance institutions to present current and prospective transactions, gather interest and pricing information, negotiate advantageous commercial terms, and finalize agreements.
- Act as the main point of contact to streamline the transaction process from the distribution perspective, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure that each transaction is executed in accordance with the terms established with the counterparty bank.
- Lead efforts to update transaction documentation with counterparties, such as Trade Credit Agreements, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities and new leads within the distribution bank portfolio.
- Oversee product development projects, guiding initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- Manage essential administrative tasks to systematically track and execute business activities across various functions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the effective execution of your role and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.
