As an Oil Derivative Trader specializing in cross-barrel trading, you will be responsible for managing and executing trading strategies across various oil derivatives, including but not limited to crude oil, gasoline, diesel, and other refined products. You will engage in both speculative and hedge trading activities, leveraging market insights and analytical skills to maximize profitability and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading Strategy: Develop and execute trading strategies for oil derivatives across multiple barrels, balancing speculative and hedge trading to optimize the firm’s market position.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis, including technical and fundamental analysis, to identify trading opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to monitor and mitigate exposure, ensuring adherence to the firm's risk policies and limits.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of oil derivative positions, maintaining a balance between speculative and hedging activities to achieve targeted returns.
  • Execution: Execute trades efficiently and effectively, utilizing various trading platforms and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other traders, analysts, and risk managers to share insights, align strategies, and enhance overall trading performance.
