Middle Office Analyst - Oil Trading
We are working with a leading integrated energy trading firm seeking to expand their team. With offices in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, they trade crude and products globally.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily trading activities for the trading desk
- Update ETRM systems with trading information
- Prepare PnL and exposure for designated business lines
- Ensure proper booking and system allocations
- Ensure market valuations of positions held are accurate
- Reconcile daily PnL
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role in the trading or oil trading industries
- Deep knowledge of MS Excel (preferably with VBA and Python skills)
- Understanding of an ETRM system
- Understanding of hedging and paper contracts
