The Dry Bulk Operator will be responsible for managing the entire trade flow for our coal and metal trading activities. This includes handling contracts, letters of credit (LCs), documentation, and coordinating all aspects of the trade from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in dry bulk operations, with a proven track record in managing complex trade flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Management: Oversee the entire trade process, from purchase orders to sales orders, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Contract Handling: Manage and execute contracts related to dry bulk trading, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for trade operations, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates.
- Letters of Credit (LCs): Handle LCs, ensuring timely issuance, amendment, and negotiation to facilitate smooth trade transactions.
- Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, buyers, shipping companies, and internal teams, to ensure seamless trade flow.
- Compliance: Ensure all trade activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the trade process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on trade activities, performance, and any issues encountered.
