LNG Analyst (Fundamental)

We are representing a market leading energy trading firm operating in the UAE that has operations in trading LNG. We are looking for a fundamental analyst to join their team to support their expanding operations.
Job Description:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced LNG Fundamental Analyst to join their team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing the LNG market, developing trading strategies, and providing support to our trading desk.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research, analysis and forecasting of LNG market fundamentals and trends
• Develop and maintain models to analyze LNG supply and demand dynamics, market pricing and infrastructure developments
• Analyze geopolitical, regulatory and economic factors impacting the LNG market
• Identify opportunities for profitable trading strategies based on market trends and fundamentals
• Work closely with traders and other analysts to develop and implement trading strategies
• Communicate market insights and analysis to the trading team and senior management
• Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date on LNG market developments
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in LNG analysis, preferably in an energy trading environment
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with experience in Excel or similar analytical tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of the LNG market, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus
