As a Light Ends Oil Trading Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of our light ends trading activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of trades, optimizing logistics, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with traders, logistics, and other internal teams to support and enhance our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Execution: Coordinate and execute physical oil trades for light ends products (e.g., naphtha, gasoline, LPG) in accordance with trading strategies and contractual terms.
- Logistics Management: Manage the logistics and scheduling of cargoes, including vessel chartering, loading, discharging, and storage arrangements.
- Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary documentation related to trades, including contracts, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with trading activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, shipping companies, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve operational issues and disputes promptly, minimizing impact on trading activities.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on trade execution, logistics performance, inventory status, and other operational metrics for senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
