As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across a range of activities related to oil trading, including but not limited to contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and risk management. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our legal practices align with international standards and local regulations, while also supporting our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to oil trading, including supply agreements, sales contracts, and shipping contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Advise on compliance with local, regional, and international regulations affecting the oil trading industry, including environmental laws and trade regulations.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including coordinating with external legal counsel and handling arbitration and litigation processes.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate those risks.
- Corporate Governance: Assist in corporate governance matters, including compliance with company policies and procedures.
