Investment Officer

We are seeking a highly strategic Investment professional to join a leading European private bank’s investment arm, headquartered in Switzerland. This role is based in Dubai and will report directly to the CEO. The Investment Officer will play a critical role in structuring and delivering investment proposals, providing investment advisory support, and managing client relationships within the firm’s UHNW client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Prepare tailored investment proposals for clients and prospects.
- Manage discretionary accounts in line with the firm’s investment guidelines.
- Provide investment advisory support for advisory mandates.
- Ensure product suitability in alignment with client profiles and regulatory requirements.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Work closely with the commercial team to support client investment needs.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing UHNW clients.
- Provide market insights and investment recommendations to enhance client portfolios.
- Trading & Compliance
- Follow up on trading instructions and coordinate with the Trading Desk in Geneva.
- Ensure investments and transactions comply with regulatory and internal policies.
- Oversee transactional order books and liaise with the Securities Back Office.
- Risk & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze risk control lists for risk management.
- Contribute to management information reporting and investment meetings.
- Technology & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance investment systems and tools.
- Conduct testing for new software releases and system enhancements.
- Other Responsibilities
- Handle special requests and execute tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Up to 7-10 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
- Skills: Strong analytical, investment structuring, and client engagement skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment products, financial markets, and risk management.
- Communication: Ability to present complex investment ideas to UHNW clients and internal teams.
