Real Estate Investment Senior Associate
About the Role:
A newly launched and licenced real estate private equity firm based in Dubai is seeking a Senior Associate – Investments to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate investment, with a strong background in Canadian and North American markets. This role involves sourcing, analysing, and managing real estate investments across various geographies, including the UAE, Canada, and other key global markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Execution:
- Identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities, with a focus on Canadian assets and markets.
- Perform detailed financial modelling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Oversee due diligence processes, including financial, legal, and operational assessments.

Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and manage the performance of existing investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop strategies to optimize asset performance and maximize returns.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on portfolio performance for internal and external stakeholders.

Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive research on real estate markets, with a particular emphasis on Canadian trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market positioning and strategic investment opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and asset management, to execute investment strategies.
- Maintain and build relationships with external partners, including brokers, advisors, and institutional investors.

Capital Raising & Investor Relations:
- Support capital-raising initiatives by preparing investment memorandums and presentations for investors.
- Assist in managing relationships with existing and prospective investors, particularly those with an interest in Canadian real estate markets.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5–7 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or asset management, with a proven track record of success in Canadian markets.
- Skills:
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment structures and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian real estate regulations, market dynamics, and key players.
