Head of Saudi Arabia - Investment Management
The Country Head will lead and grow the investment management business in Saudi Arabia, driving strategic expansion, deal origination, regulatory compliance, and client engagement. This individual will be responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the firm's investment strategy in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the overall regional and global objectives.

Lead business expansion efforts, including identifying new investment opportunities, partnerships, and market positioning.

Oversee all investment activities, including fundraising, deal sourcing, structuring, and execution.

Work closely with the regional leadership team to ensure alignment with broader corporate goals.

Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across various asset classes (private equity, real estate, infrastructure, public markets, private credit, etc.).

Manage the local investment portfolio, ensuring strong returns and risk-adjusted performance.

Develop relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and institutional investors to drive capital raising and co-investment opportunities.

Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements (e.g., CMA, SAMA, Vision 2030 initiatives).

Liaise with relevant government entities, financial regulators, and legal advisors to maintain strong corporate governance.

Stay informed about evolving regulations affecting investment firms in Saudi Arabia.

Build and strengthen relationships with key institutional investors, family offices, corporate clients, and government entities.

Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and regulatory discussions.

Act as a thought leader, providing market insights and investment strategies tailored to the Saudi market.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing investment team in Saudi Arabia.

Ensure operational efficiency, risk management, and adherence to internal investment policies.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 12+ years in investment management, private equity, asset management, or financial services, with a strong track record in Saudi Arabia.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Saudi investment regulations, local market trends, and Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Network: Established relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, drive strategy, and scale a business in a competitive market.
- Regulatory Expertise: Experience navigating CMA/SAMA regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English
