Senior US Fundraiser (Remote, Commission-Based):
Our client, an independent placement agent, is looking for a Senior Institutional Salesperson to join their team. The firm works with institutional investors and wealth LPs, helping them raise capital for Private Equity and Private Credit funds. This is a commission-based position for a individual with a proven track record in capital raising.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify, engage, and build relationships with institutional investors and wealth LPs to raise capital for private equity and/or private credit funds.
- Lead all aspects of the capital raising process, including outreach, presentations, due diligence, and closing.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand the funds’ investment strategies, positioning, and value proposition.
- Develop and execute a strategy to meet fundraising goals, maintaining regular communication with clients and investors.
- Build and leverage your existing network to source new opportunities and expand the firm’s investor base.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in raising capital for private equity and/or private credit funds, with a track record of successful fundraising from institutional investors and wealth LPs.
- Strong knowledge of the capital raising process and investor relations within the private markets space.
- Existing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and wealth managers are highly desirable.
- A deep understanding of the private equity and private credit landscape is essential.
