As the Head of Risk for our new Dubai office, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the risk management function. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of risk management and product control. You will collaborate closely with senior management and global teams to develop risk strategies that safeguard our operations and support our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and controls for the Dubai office.
- Lead and develop a team of risk managers and product controllers, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze market, credit, operational, and liquidity risks associated with trading activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and stress tests to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate risks effectively.
- Collaborate with trading desks, finance, legal, and compliance teams to assess new business opportunities and ensure adherence to risk limits.
- Provide timely and accurate risk reporting to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and market conditions to enhance risk management strategies.
