C# Developer 
Leading Hedge Fund 
New York

We are partnered with a leading Global Hedge Fund who are seeking a qualified developer to join their development team, supporting their full suite of software solutions.

The candidate will work on applications across our clients codebase, including their proprietary Order Management System (OMS), a collection of services which facilitates the daily trading operations across financial markets. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the Research team with implementing data ingestion and storage solutions for new datasets.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of programming fundamentals, basic design patterns (Repository, Factory, Singleton, etc.) SOLID principles
  • Experience writing code in C# for .NET Framework and an understanding of .NET data structures
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and fundamentals of database management
  • Additional preferred experience: REST API, web sockets, Azure DevOps (or other source control solutions), WPF, WCF,  more complex design patterns such as MVVM
Responsibilities:
  • Cross-team collaboration with Research and Operations teams to support new initiatives and improve existing processes
  • Design, Develop, and Implement software solutions using the .NET Framework
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing codebase across a variety of .NET sub frameworks, including WPF, WCF, ADO.NET
