Our client, a leading quantitative investment company focused on computer-driven trading in global financial markets, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Core Technology team.

As a key player, the Software Engineer will contribute to building and scaling the company’s central infrastructure, working on both greenfield projects and enhancing existing systems. Reporting directly to the Co-Chief Technology Officers and collaborating closely with team members and end users, the Software Engineer will have immediate firmwide impact and exposure to all areas of the firm such as data, research, operations, and risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop efficient, scalable data and research infrastructure.
  • Implement robust workflows for processing structured and unstructured financial datasets.
  • Contribute to internal microservice-based infrastructure platform.
  • Develop web-based tools for internal teams and users.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), or related field.
  • Two years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Programming experience in Python (experience with relational databases and SQL is a plus).
