Role Overview: As a Middle Office Product Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of their trading operations. You will be responsible for monitoring trade activity, supporting risk management, and providing analytical insights to enhance decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Support: Oversee trade bookings and ensure accuracy in the trading system, liaising with front office traders to resolve discrepancies.
- P&L Analysis: Monitor and analyze daily Profit and Loss statements, providing timely reports to senior management and identifying any anomalies.
- Risk Management: Assist in the identification and assessment of financial and operational risks associated with trading activities, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on trading activities, positions, and exposures to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve efficiency within the middle office functions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including front office, back office, and risk management, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
