Our client is a rapidly growing company focused on revolutionizing the crypto trading industry. The organization is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join its expanding team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the development and scaling of their market-making infrastructure and OTC brokerage platform, working with cutting-edge technologies in the digital asset space.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Trading and Sales teams to enhance and support the company’s technology infrastructure. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and diverse team of engineers, with the potential for the successful individual to take on a leadership role within the team in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the company’s infrastructure, ensuring it can scale to accommodate growth.
  • Optimize data acquisition channels to ensure continuous, real-time, and accurate data feeds.
  • Address and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain system efficiency.
  • Integrate new technical and financial microservices to strengthen and expand the infrastructure.
Technology Stack: Typescript, NodeJS, Rust, Golang, GCP, Kubernetes
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with confidence in working with Typescript and NodeJS (experience with Go and Rust is a plus).
  • Familiarity with test frameworks to ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing complex systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop optimized solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with web3 libraries such as ethers.js, go-ethereum, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture.
  • A genuine interest or experience in financial markets and capital markets.
