Our client, a tier 1 global Asset Manager is looking for a talented technician to join their Abu Dhabi office. The firm manages 2bn+ in capital and places technology at the forefront of their growth, investing in cutting edge technology and the strongest talent in the market. Currently the business is building a leading systematic data platform which powers their systematic portfolio engines.
You will join a team of data scientists, analysts and engineers who are responsible for the sources of alpha for the firms portfolio managers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quantitative investing and wants to further their career with one of the leading tech-driven asset managers. The role will see you research potential alpha sources and present them to the PM's and analysts whilst also maintaining their market leading data processing and transformation engine. To add to this you will clean historical data and monitor data quality, build tools to acquire and tag datasets.
Requirements for Quant Developer, Tier 1 Asset Manager - Abu Dhabi:
- Ph.D or Masters in computer science, mathmatics, statistics or other related field.
- Previous financial experience advantageous.
- Expert in Python
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
