Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge alpha and strategy research for crypto assets, leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and statistical modeling methodologies.
  • Generate inventive alpha concepts and explore novel datasets for alpha prospects within a collaborative research setting.
  • Optimize our client's crypto portfolio and evaluate trading performance.
  • Collaborate closely with an outstanding team of quant researchers and developers, benefiting from peer and industry expert insights, and providing support to team members for mutual success.
  • Implement solutions into production and promptly receive performance feedback.
  • Evolve into a key contributor to our client's trading strategy and research platform.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Applied Math, or another quantitative discipline; outstanding candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees will also be considered. (GPA 4.0 required)
  • Demonstrated research track record showcasing innovation within the field.
  • Experience in research or application of machine learning or statistical modeling is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or other contemporary programming languages.
  • Versatile problem-solving abilities and a determination to excel.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and amplifying impact.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with other quant researchers within a highly cooperative environment.
  • Previous experience in a research role within the tech or finance sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial markets or the crypto industry is beneficial but not mandatory – our client is willing to invest in the right candidate.
