We are partnering with a global trading house that is looking to expand its LNG desk by hiring an Originator/Business Development Manager for their team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and finalize commercial terms to secure contracts, ensuring access to new markets and a broad network of potential buyers.
- Provide crucial support to the LNG trading and portfolio teams, particularly in spot market activities, to enhance the company’s trading position and profitability.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the LNG sector, establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key counterparties to drive long-term growth.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Origination, with a proven track record of successfully identifying and securing business opportunities.
- Deep knowledge of the LNG market, including a thorough understanding of global supply-demand dynamics and opportunities for growth.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and availability to travel internationally for business as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to expanding market reach.
