Job Title: Head of Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Operations Department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and striving for operational excellence.
 - Oversee the review and accuracy of all transactional documentation generated by the team.
 - Validate transactions within internal systems, manage payment requests, monitor financial commitments, and swiftly address any issues to uphold financial integrity.
 - Supervise the execution process for each transaction, including document handling, discounting of Letters of Credit and other financial instruments, ensuring timely payments to clients.
 - Drive initiatives to enhance operational management systems, processes, and best practices, with a focus on cost reduction, strengthening controls, and improving service quality.
 - Collaborate with counterparties and internal departments—such as operations, sales, and finance—to ensure seamless operational performance.
 - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations and trade finance documentation, including UCP 600, Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Promissory Notes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
 - Identify and implement improvements to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.
 - Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the successful execution of your role and advance organizational goals.
