Our Client, a globally renowned top-tier hedge fund, is actively seeking a proficient C++ Developer who is adept at harnessing technological advancements and data science innovations to tackle intricate challenges within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in the refinement and augmentation of the distributed pricing platform of the FICT unit.
- Ensuring the seamless provisioning of continual, uninterrupted firm-wide risk assessments and P&L insights through FICT.
- Close collaboration with worldwide FICT research, technology teams, Middle Office, and Trading entities.
- Construction of an innovative FICT analytics library from the ground up, followed by its seamless integration into the existing system, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
- Possession of a minimum BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field such as Financial Engineering.
- Demonstrated substantial hands-on experience utilizing contemporary C++ programming.
- Profound proficiency in analytical and mathematical competencies.
- Proven track record in Multi-threading, Client-Server architecture, and Distributed Computing.
- Previous exposure to operating within a Linux environment.
- Solid grasp of diverse Design Patterns, Algorithms, and Data Structures.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git / SVN.
- Display of robust problem-solving acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Capability to work autonomously within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented disposition, exemplifying organizational prowess, meticulousness, and a high sense of ownership toward assigned tasks.
- Prior experience in Fixed Income pricing and risk analytics, particularly within Front Office trading environments encompassing Rates, Credit, and FX domains.
- Proficiency in crafting Cross Asset Pricing and Risk Systems.
- Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Spring Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP).
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in utilizing NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
