Leadership:
• Establish and implement objectives and strategy for accounting and tax functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely management information.
• Collaborate with VP Finance on financial performance updates.
• Develop and manage budgets and policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and committees on company performance.
Reporting:
• Prepare financial reports and monthly management information packs.
• Analyze business results and performance metrics.
• Assist in budget variance analysis and run ad hoc reports.
Tax:
• Prepare and review tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for tax compliance.
• Implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
Treasury:
• Develop daily cash flow forecasts and monitor financial health.
•Establish payment procedures and ensure adequate funds.
• Advise management on liquidity planning.
Budgeting and Planning:
• Direct preparation of annual operating budgets and fiscal plans.
• Assist with long-term and short-term business planning.
• Optimize business performance and manage department budgets.
Risk Management:
• Understand regulatory impacts and manage risk through accounting and audit functions.
• Ensure finance business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Implement policies and procedures for accounting compliance.
Generic Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures.

• Support firms Performance Management System implementation.
