Portfolio Manager - Systematic Commodities

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Systematic Portfolio Manager to join our clients commodities trading team at a multi bn $ HF. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of systematic trading strategies focused on commodities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement systematic trading strategies for commodities, utilizing quantitative analysis and modeling techniques
- Conduct research and analysis on commodity markets, staying abreast of market trends and developments
- Monitor trading positions and risk exposure, and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with other members of the commodities trading team to optimize trading strategies and enhance risk management processes
- Evaluate the performance of trading strategies and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in trading technology and identify opportunities to improve trading processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in systematic portfolio management, with a focus on commodities trading
- Strong knowledge of commodity markets and trading strategies, with a track record of successful trading performance
- Experience with quantitative analysis, data modeling, and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
