The purpose of the role is to monitor and analyze subsidiaries’ performance against internal targets as well as external market trends and conduct company, industry, market and competitor research and due diligence
Core Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with subsidiaries to gather performance data; analyze subsidiaries’ strategic and business plans, budget and measure performance against pre-set targets to identify gaps Prepare performance reports (including performance analysis and identify gaps)
• Conduct external analysis (e.g. industry analysis, macroeconomic trends etc) of the sector under management to identify latest market and industry trends • Conduct internal analysis to evaluate subsidiaries capabilities, performance/ positioning versus external analysis
• Perform gap analysis based on internal analysis and prepare gap analysis report
• Collect board pack from subsidiaries; review board pack and report to Head of Portfolio on key findings
• Conduct analysis on company performance sensitivities
• Research, screen and analyze acquisition opportunities within subsectors
• Assist Head of Portfolio in conducting valuation analysis including financial projections and benchmarking
• Assist Head of Portfolio in assessing disposition opportunity
• Assist Head of Portfolio in transaction due diligence and valuation in close coordination with Finance Department
• Develop valuation report and forward to Head of Portfolio for review
• Assist in the handover process of assets from Project Development Department to Portfolio Management Department
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the Head of Portfolio
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Completed CFA level 1
- UAE National Required
