As part of our expansion efforts in Africa, we are seeking highly motivated and experienced Business Development Managers to join our dynamic team and drive the development of our trading activities across the continent.

Position Overview: As the Business Development Manager for Africa, you will be responsible for spearheading the expansion of our trading operations across the continent. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and building a strong presence for [Company Name] in the African market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for oil trading across Africa, including crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate key markets and sectors in Africa, leveraging your network and industry expertise.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, national oil companies, refiners, distributors, and trading partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including trading, operations, and finance to develop tailored solutions and execute trading strategies in alignment with market trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, assess market dynamics, and anticipate customer needs, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Lead negotiations and deal structuring for trading agreements, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Monitor and track performance against targets and objectives, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
